Actually, a couple of things made me go with Ray White. Bear in mind that I was very cost conscious and was willing (at one stage) to just go with the cheapest quote I had for managing this property. Ray White is actually the most expensive quote I’ve had! But the reasons I still chose to with with Ray White are:
1. The initial response to my inquiry with a photo of the property and a management contract was impressive. None of the other property managers did that. Some just answered my questions inline in the email and that was it
2. I read online about how Ray White was achieving a much better vacancy rate compared to other property managers in Gladstone. Not sure where exactly I read that but here’s another article that quotes you
3. Ray White was the only property manager to give me a lower rental of A$460 per week for this property! Everyone else had something higher. To me, it appeared they were willing to take on a longer vacancy period or were overestimating the rentals (I read many articles about an oversupply)
4. The response times from Brenda and the team have been extremely good compared to the other property managers. This is important to me as I am based in Hong Kong
