Following the success of Ray White’s ‘Super Weekend’ held in July, the Gladstone branch of the nationwide property group are again set to host in excess of 30 Open Homes this weekend.
Launching the agency’s Spring sales campaign, Ray White Gladstone director Andrew Allen said he expects great results from the remainder of the 2019 calendar year.
“History tells us that Spring, and particularly October and November, is the highest volume sales period of the year,” he emphasised.
“The results from our last Super Weekend were very encouraging. We had over 100 inspections in two days, contributing to our best month in several years with 19 properties sold in August.”
Mr Allen noted that the Gladstone property market has witnessed positive growth in recent months.
“While there is emerging evidence of actual price growth, we have certainly felt an increase in the number of sales and number of enquiries.”
Mr Allen said he was encouraged by the recent buoyancy of the Gladstone property market conditions. “We are now seeing a real change in the market. More sales are occurring and the number of homes for sale is reducing.”
Gladstone’s rental market also continues to gather pace with Mr Allen pointing out that vacancy rates remain low and rents continue to rise.
“With a growing population and no new supply of rental stock being produced, I predict that rents will continue to rise until rental returns are at a level that justifies the investment in new construction,” Mr Allen said.
